Speak Up for Those Who Cannot Speak for Themselves

Day 1: Creation of a new life, one specifically and intentionally formed by God himself.

Day 21: Her heart begins to beat.

Day 41: Her fingers start to form...

followed by her toes just a few days later.

Week 16: She can hear your voice.

Week 35: She can make complex facial expressions.

This child,

is most definitely this child,

is without a doubt this child.

She is now, has always been, and will forever be
an absolute miracle from the moment of conception,
just as every child is,
including you.

Need help speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves?  Go here, or here, or read this. (I would be happy to loan you a copy.  I have two.)

It's been 40 years friends.
40. Years.
No more silence.
No more excuses.
No more ignorance.
No more lies.

Today. Go. Speak up!

  1. What a beautiful post.
Standing with you, and grieving with you, and praying with you for an end to abortion.

  2. Yes, a miracle, even when a baby is not "perfect" by the world's standards.

  3. Hi Heather,

This is such a beautiful post, but sad at the same time. I had a miscarriage and would have loved to hold that little one in my arms. So, it saddens me deeply to know that abortion is legal in our country. Thank you for posting this.

  5. Thank you ladies! My prayer is that we find an opportunity each day to speak up and that we would be equipped with the words with which to do it well.
