Three Weeks

In three weeks Seth and I will be laying on a beach, soaking up the rays, book in one hand, glass of wine in the other...

wait a minute, that doesn't sound quite right.

Let's try this again.

In three weeks we will be getting up early to be covered in dirt and grime.  To quote one e-mail from our leaders, "Pack clothes that you don't care if you ever wear again."  We will be trying to not get burned to a crisp, paintbrush in one hand, can of tuna in the other...but we will be surrounded by one group of God's people, caring for another.

That sounds exactly right!

We're gonna love it!

By the way, Bag #1 is 48.5 lbs.  I have to admit, I did a little happy dance just now.
